Assessing the risk of an organisation is a statutory requirement for all registered charities.
It clearly is also good practice and an essential tool to evaluate the level of risk from both internal and external factors
In order to establish the risks, we assist the organisation in mapping out the risks known and perceived in terms of likelihood and impact:
The Risk Map (Example)
Once the risks have been mapped into the quadrants, a risk register is produced covering critical, high, medium and low risks using colour indicators. A management process for each risk is identified and responsible person identified and timeframe.
